Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center, or SPARC, was opened in June 2012 to serve the unwanted and stray animals of Santa Paula, California. SPARC is the first and only no-kill shelter in Ventura County. We take in all types of unwanted animals, but our most common intakes are dogs and cats. It is our mission to rehabilitate and rehome the homeless animals of our city. SPARC also strives to educate Santa Paula's citizens about spaying and neutering, proper pet care, and preventing animal abuse. Although our mandate only allows us to accept unwanted and stray animals from Santa Paula, we encourage potential adopters from all over southern California and beyond to adopt from us. Please come visit SPARC today, where one of our animals is sure to steal your heart!
