Sanoma Hearst Romania is a joint venture between Sanoma, a top European publisher, and Hearst Corporation, a top USA media conglomerate. Sanoma Hearst Romania is linked to its parent company through Sanoma Magazines International (SMI), the Central European and South Eastern Europe magazines division of the Finnish media company Sanoma. Sanoma Magazines operates in 12 European countries, managing top quality media products on very competitive markets. Sanoma is the fourth-largest magazine publisher in Europe. It publishes over 275 magazines. The Hearst Corporation traces its origins to March 4, 1887. Today, the Hearst Corporation is one of the largest diversified communications companies.
