Motivated by his family's long-time legacy of taking care of people, our founder Bob Gaglardi opened the first Sandman Inn in 1967 in Smithers, BC, with a vision to build hotels where families could come together and enjoy the best in customer service. Today, our portfolio of hotels includes three tiers: Economy, Select and Premium, with 57 destinations in Canada, three in the United Kingdom, and one in the United States (Plano, Texas).
