The San Diego Green Infrastructure Consortium (SD GIC) is a team of dedicated professionals from various fields, committed to enhancing the region's capacity to address climate change and other environmental challenges. Our central mission is to improve community resilience and promote a sustainable future for the San Diego area. We employ a holistic, nature-based approach that leverages natural solutions, often demonstrating greater effectiveness and cost-efficiency compared to traditional methods in addressing environmental concerns. Unfortunately, these powerful, nature-inspired strategies are frequently underestimated. The SD GIC plays a crucial role in facilitating the adoption of integrated green infrastructure initiatives, programs, and policies by bringing together a diverse range of public and private stakeholders.
