San Diego Green Infrastructure Consortium

The green infrastructure consortium is a group of organizations that work together to plan, design, implement, and maintain green infrastructure projects. The purpose of the green infrastructure consortium is to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve common goals related to green infrastructure. These goals include improving water quality and reducing stormwater runoff, enhancing biodiversity and wildlife habitat, increasing resilience to climate change, and providing a variety of environmental, economic, and social benefits. The consortium includes government agencies, non-profit organizations, private companies, educational institutions, and community groups. Each member brings unique perspectives, expertise, and resources to the table, which can help to increase the overall impact and success of the green infrastructure projects. Generally the group comes together to promote green infrastructure implementation and coordination among the different parties. Furthermore, we also work on research, policy development, education and outreach and planning activities.
