San Benito High School District, located just south of Silicon Valley and less than an hour from the Monterey Bay and Pacific Ocean, is seeking an innovative, high school principal with proven leadership in positive school culture and a strong commitment to supporting students both academically and socio-emotionally. Experience with special education inclusion, successful English Learner programs, AVID, and restorative justice practices is highly desirable. Located in the San Benito County seat of Hollister, the District is ideally located in a temperate region known for organic farms, destination wineries, and Pinnacles National Park. The only high school in the district, Hollister High School, is committed to educating all students to their highest potential so they will have the greatest range of personal options upon graduation. For four years in a row, the school has been ranked as a “Best High School” by U.S. News and was named a Special Olympics National Unified Champion School for its commitment to inclusion.
