Saltwater Classroom

Saltwater Classroom is an innovative approach to environmental education that aims to solve pressing ocean issues by instilling an ethic of stewardship in today’s youth. Through weeklong workshops focused on marine science and ocean conservation and centered around hands-on experiments and field-work missions, Saltwater Classroom will connect participants to the marine environment in new and meaningful ways, sparking a passion for the ocean. This is strengthened through Saltwater Classroom's mobile phone/tablet application where participants around the world can connect, build cross-cultural relationships, share marine discoveries, and ultimately forge a passion for the ocean that extends beyond whatever differences may set us apart.
