Come by & experience an atmosphere all its own featuring fine spirits and our unique blend of honest food, perfect pints and good humor. Established in 2003. For nearly a quarter century, the Tuohy family operated the popular Shanty Chalet restaurant at the Mt Sunapee, NH circle. It was second home to many who were guaranteed a warm welcome and an open ear, as well as terrific food and strong brew. Tom & Judy Tuohy's six kids grew up in the Shanty, schooled by example in work ethic and service with a smile. Brothers Joe & Josh Tuohy have opened Salt hill Pub in Lebanon in 2003, Newport in 2007 and most recently in 2010, Hanover, NH. Salt hill is a neighborhood in Galway, home to our grandparents. Today, much of what we know about good food and good people comes from "Ma Tuohy".
