Sai Rayalaseema Paper Mills Limited
SRPML formerly Sree Rayalaseema Paper Mills Ltd., one of the modern integrated paper mills in India was originally set up as a joint venture company of the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation Ltd., (APIDC) during 1974 to manufacture writing and printing paper, newsprint, Kraft and duplex board on the northern bank of river Tungabhadra near Kurnool town in the State of A.P.
SRPML commenced commercial production in 1979, all its products enjoyed very good name and premium in the market. Due to various reasons the company has become sick and referred to Board for industrial and financial reconstruction (BIFR) for suitable rehabilitation in the year 1990.
SRPML has taken over by B.V.Satya Sai Prasad & Associates (BVSSPA) through BIFR. SRPML, under the management of new promoters, has undergone extensive renovation, additions, up-gradation and modernization.
The present capacity of the mill is 1,30,000 TPA The mill started commercial production in April 2007.
