STRING is both a political organisation, with eight regions and six cities as members, and a geographical area stretching from Hamburg to Oslo. The members form a megaregion because there is strength in numbers. We strive to be a globally acknowledged Green Hub and a leading implementer of sustainable infrastructure to combat climate change and create a better life for our inhabitants. Our members are: City of Hamburg, Capital Region of Denmark, Land Schleswig-Holstein, Region Zealand, City of Copenhagen, City of Malmö, Region Skåne, Region Halland, Region Västra Götaland, City of Gothenburg, City of Oslo, city of Helsingborg, Viken Council and Region Southern Denmark.
