We solve learning problems for students who are struggling academically. Our skilled tutors work one-on-one at 6 locations through the Upstate of South Carolina. Potentials©, a research-based approach for those with learning problems, is the secret to our success. Potentials© develops phonemic awareness, accuracy, visual memory, automaticity, spelling, number sense, computation, and strategies. Math is taught kinesthetically with manipulatives. Students are evaluated monthly, and most reach grade level in 3-4 months. Parents are our partners as they help plan the student’s program and commit to regular attendance. We train them in techniques to use at home. In addition, parents contribute toward services via the Sliding Fee Scale.
We actively seek families in need, so 60% of students live in the federal poverty/low income levels. Our Scholarship Fund makes attendance possible for families with annual income under $31,000. These parents pay a minimal fee per hour (Sliding Fee Scale) and the Scholarship Fund supplies the deficit. We actively solicit donations to give our kids success.
