Promoted by Reserve Bank of India in May 1994, STCI Finance Limited (formerly known as Securities Trading Corporation of India Limited), is a systemically important non-deposit taking Loan NBFC. The Company was promoted with the objective of fostering an active secondary market in Government of India Securities and Public Sector bonds. RBI divested its shareholding in STCI Finance Limited in two stages - first in 1997 to bring it down from 50.18% to 14.41% and the balance in 2002 to the existing shareholders. Presently, numerous Public Sector Banks and Financial Institutions have their stakes in the Company. We have a diversified product portfolio which caters to different sectors all over India.
