Spiritus Ministries

We at SPIRITUS Ministries love our Lord, His Church, and His children. Our retreat center and missionaries facilitate hundreds of retreats for over 5,000 students each year. Join our team! Our retreat leaders, SPIRITUS missionaries, are young adults (19-29) who commit to 9 months of giving dynamic retreats and serving in parish youth ministry internships. Missionaries work with students in grades 2-12, inspiring students to grow in their relationship with God through praise and worship, dramas, interactive activities, and small/large group discussions. Our two types of service opportunities: - Retreat Missionaries -> focus efforts on leading retreats and programming for youth in parishes and schools throughout Wisconsin. - Youth Ministry Interns -> serve with the retreat team while also serving in a designated parish. Interns have the opportunity to gain essential ministry skills by learning to implement a comprehensive youth ministry program, successfully collaborate with a parish staff, disciple youth, and plan/organize/execute programming. All SPIRITUS missionaries receive food and lodging, are provided with monthly spiritual direction, and grow in their own understanding of the Catholic faith through weekly knowledge and skill-building formation.
