We are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible adoption of homeless pets. We rescue most of our homeless pets from Michigan pounds. Once safely in our care, we restore our pets to health, treating a wide variety of medical problems. All our pets are sterilized and brought up to date on required vaccinations. When ready, we place our pets in responsible and caring homes, using a careful screening process.
The SPCA of Southwest Michigan is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization. We receive no public funding or support from any national organization. Our operating budget derives from private donations and the service fees we charge at the time of adoption. We rely on the hard work of volunteers for our success.
Our new pet rescue center at 6955 West KL Avenue in Oshtemo Township is now open and serving the Southwest Michigan community. The campaign to finance this building project is ongoing.
