We are 4 long time friends from South Germany & in 2020 we decided to build our own skis! 👨🏻🦰👨🏼🦱🧑🏼 Soon we figured out that we knew everything about skis, except of how to make them 🤷🏼♂️ But what the heck - we wanted to do this! We put our engineering background to use & started an exciting trial & error Journey towards the Skis of our dreams! ⚙️ We wanted to stay as lean as possible for our development phase, which is why we had to get very creative at times, to overcome the lack of expensive tools and certain materials.💡 Meanwhile we partnered up with our former University, SMBs and Friends & Family to have access to high end professional tools & high-quality materials. We place a lot of value on environmentally friendly processes & sustainable ingredients for our product. 🌱 This is why we don't work with fibre glass or cheap plastics - instead we use natural fibres for the stability, as well as local spruce & beech wood for the cores, cork, recycled plastics for the base and and bio-based epoxy resins ♻️ We want to MAKE MAMA SKADI PROUD, by engineering high performance, log-lasting eco-friendly skis for everyone who calls the mountains their home! 🤍 #sonsofskadi
