SIX AH WI Artists' Collective Association is a registered not-for-profit organization that develops creative programming and exhibitions based around carefully considered artistic and curatorial discourse.
Comprised of two functioning bodies; a Board of Directors and an Executive Body of Artists, the Collective was first formed in Scarborough, Ontario in 1993 by 6 African-Canadian artists from various Caribbean backgrounds.
Created to give members the opportunity to intervene and actively engage in the continuing discourse around creating contemporary art form, the collective aims at engaging both the creative and general community by “Giving Visual Art a Voice.”
