SGS-TÜV Saar GmbH is the result of a joint venture between the SGS Group Germany and TÜV Saarland e.V. Through the Global Competence Centre Functional Safety, SGS-TÜV Saar offers you comprehensive services for the following industrial sectors: Automotive, automation, semiconductors, software, aerospace, process industry, machine safety, agriculture and forestry. We support you as a full service provider in the development and testing of your products (complete systems, subsystems, software, semiconductors, etc.) and processes for optimum acceptance and product safety on international markets. As a designated technical service, SGS-TÜV Saar supports you through the Homologation Centre in obtaining approvals for components, systems or vehicles (individual approval, national and EU small series approval, type approval) on the basis of EC directives/regulations and ECE regulations. The same applies to national (StVZO) and other international legal bases. In addition, we advise you on new vehicle concepts or on the interpretation and application of legal regulations, plan the scope of necessary tests with you and carry them out on request. We are also happy to assist you with the preparation of manufacturer documentation for various markets.
