Sellowrap Industries Pvt. Ltd. Sushil Poddar came to recognize the value of the booming Indian automobile market and in 1986 he set up the SK Group and its first company Sellowrap Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. The company was incorporated to support & benefit from a fast growing opportunity in the auto component market. Ever since its inception, Sellowrap Manufacturing has been involved in the production of Automobile components and White Goods, made of different grades of foams and molded plastic components and today is a name to reckon with, in the industry. In 1991 , the SK Group entered into a 65:35 JV with Rieter, erstwhile Unikeller to manufacture and aunch sound deadeners in India. In 2005 , as part of the diversification initiative of business activities, SK Group entered into a 67% -33% JV with Mitsui to launch its second company, Sellowrap EPP India Pvt. Ltd to manufacture foamed PP/PE & PS products for Bumper core, Floor Spacers, Tool Kit, Side Impact Bar, Sunvisor cores, Door Trim pads, Head Rest Pads, Parcel Shelf supports, returnable containers etc. A total manufacturing capacity, across its 3 plants, SK Group produces over Rs 280 million of international quality products annually, giving it a clear edge in the market place.
