Score Central Coast

SCORE, the nation’s largest network of free, expert business mentors, is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business nationwide. This chapter serves Santa Cruz and Monterey counties with our growing team of volunteers. We offer one-on-one meetings and low-cost workshops. Because our work is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of volunteers, we are able to deliver our services at no charge or at very low cost. We provide: -Volunteer mentors who share their expertise across 62 industries -Free, confidential business counseling in person or via email -Free business tools, templates and tips online -Inexpensive or free business workshops (locally) and webinars (online 24/7) SCORE Mentors Central Coast Chapter #688, has been counseling small businesses since 1990, and also provides free counseling for not-for-profits. Recently SCORE Santa Cruz County and Monterey Bay merged to form SCORE Mentors Central Coast to better serve this area. We are an active chapter and have more than 20 volunteers. The mentors of SCORE Central Coast are experienced business founders and managers who volunteer their experience and knowledge to help potential business entrepreneurs, existing business managers, and non-profit executives achieve success. SCORE mentors provide you with in-depth, relevant, practical advice on the feasibility and implementation requirements of an idea or plan, and can help you solve the problems that go with building a successful enterprise. Our reward is delivery of useful advice in a manner that serves you well.
