The Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research is a hub for multidisciplinary and translational research focused on improving population health. Since its founding in 1985, the Institute has brought together faculty from the social and behavioral sciences, clinical disciplines, basic sciences and related fields across and beyond Rutgers into a vibrant network. Their rigorous theory-based research is actively addressing salient and timely challenges in the areas of health equity, healthy aging, behavioral health, pharmacoepidemiology, health services and health policy.
