Russian Esports Federation (RESF), founded in 2000, is the leading Russian non-commercial and non-governmental eSports organization. RESF strategy is aimed to implementing and developing eSports in Russia, to promoting esports among wide audience and to making scientific and practical researches of esports. RESF played a significant role in the official recognition of esports in Russia in 2016. The key competitions, organized by RESF, are Russian Esports Cup and All-Russian Esports Student League. These are the most massive esports competitions in Russia and CIS, which are popular among thousands of players and watched by millions of spectators. In addition, RESF is responsible for the esports education in Russia and for attracting the attention of society to esports.
