Located in downtown Kingston, Ontario, Routes Adventures is the exclusive Canadian program provider for Road Scholar, an American not-for-profit organization committed to providing academic travel experiences to adults. Our learning adventures engage expert presenters, provide extraordinary access, and stimulate discourse and friendship among people for whom learning is the journey of a lifetime. Founded in 1986, Routes Adventures recognizes that true insight and understanding are still sparked by hands-on experience and open discussions that stimulate the senses, energize the body, and challenge the mind. We offer over 200 curated, educational, small group adventures across Canada that enhance the lives of our participants and give back to the communities we visit. From the northern community of Churchill, Manitoba, and remote coastal outposts of Newfoundland to the coastal grizzly bears, estuaries and fjords of British Columbia, our team of experts take pride in creating immersive itineraries and life-changing experiences.
