Route2 is an innovative approach to distribution, launched by The Cress Co, for ambient food producers. Route2 is a consolidation service enabling smaller producers to reach specialist food retailers throughout the UK, without worrying about meeting minimum order quantities or being committed to long-term contracts. It’s intended to streamline and simplify the distribution process while offering the advantages of working via a wholesaler without the restrictions which that typically imposes. We’ll consolidate deliveries, and manage the invoice & payment process while you handle marketing, management of your product range, stock availability and pricing. The process is designed to be transparent, flexible and simple to use via the Route2 web portal, which launches in Q1 2019. So you can get on with making your delicious products, and we’ll handle getting them to the retailers, who will in turn benefit from a simplified order system.
