Rotaract From Kavaklıdere’s View In fact, according to the classic definition, Rotaract is made up of the words "Rotary in Action". The aim is to train leading individuals by providing personal development of young people between 18 and 30 years old. However, as Rotaract Club of Ankara Kavaklıdere, we have added our feelings, emotional thoughts and experiences to this definition and we want to share our own definitions with you. What is Rotaract for us? Rotaract is about to produce a new project at any moment. In order to be beneficial, we ask ourselves what we can do for our children, for the time being, for education, for health, in short, for our country. It is working for hours, days, months, if necessary, for a project we aim to do. Rotaract is not being satisfied with work. To us, Rotaract is a team game. We are a part of the whole, we can never reach the final without holding hands. We all have different professional branches, but we are able to create a whole for a purpose. Most of us are students. None of us can realize our project by taking advantage of material possibilities. We achieve success by combining our work force and our hearts. We move forward with the strength we receive from each other; achieve success and develop ourselves. We pay our respects to the ones who enlighten our ways, to those who hold our hands, by smiling, by giving our love from the bottom of our hearts, by defending our ideals and the future of our country. Rotaract is learning by developing. Our guest speakers open up new horizons for us at our twice-monthly meetings. We always have the opportunity to learn a bit more, with the awareness of the fact that it is a tremendous treasure of knowledge and experience. We consider learning from the rostrum or accomplishing great things with little possibilities as new opportunities for us.
