Founded in 1990, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Morgantown, WV was created to find and support programs that make an immediate and positive impact on the health and well-being of children. Guided by our core values, RMHC of Morgantown provides a "home-away-from-home", without the financial burden of a hotel for families of critically ill children. Yet, RMHC of Morgantown is more than a roof overhead. During this emotional time, the house offers the comforts of home, while also providing support and encouragement. With community support, we are able to fulfill our mission and help over 1,800 families each year. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, we are open to serve those traveling from West Virginia and surrounding states as well as internationally. With a 99% full occupancy rate, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Morgantown, WV hosts up to 16 families overnight at one time. Our house includes a beautiful double kitchen, family room, game room, laundry facility, reading area, nursing nook and two outdoor playgrounds. Our services also include a day guest program, allowing anyone who has a hospitalized child to shower, do laundry and have a warm meal from 9 am - 9 pm every day of the week.
