In recent years, the organization that governs domains, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) decided to allow Registries to propose and manage new extensions. Rightside was one of those Registries and after several years of intensive work we now own 40 extensions including .NINJA, .ROCKS, .GAMES, .LIVE, and .NEWS. Besides opening up new digital real estate, we’d like to think these new domain extensions make the internet a more exciting, creative space. We’re helping individuals and brands tell their story, their way. And we could not be more excited to be at the forefront of this new movement.
