Since 1976, the team at Rickaby & Co, Berkhamsted’s award winning Accountants, have built strong relationships with their clients, and helped them to achieve their goals. Having lead the team for nearly fourteen years, Chris and Liz Baranov have now decided to move away from the accountancy industry, and will leave the business on the 23rd December 2015.
There will be minimal change beyond the faces at the helm, as the firm has now become part of Haines Watts, which will operate from the existing Rickaby & Co offices in Claridge Court. Shaun Brownsmith, who joined Rickaby & Co over five years ago, will be the Managing Partner in the new, larger firm.
Shaun said ‘Clients will see a change of logo and corporate colour, but the key aspects of our service, including pricing and our focus on building and enhancing our relationships with clients, will carry on as normal.’ Chris agrees, saying ‘The handover to Haines Watts should work out brilliantly as our clients will be looked after in the same way, from the same location and by the same team.’
With over 60 locations around the country, each Haines Watts office is operated autonomously by owner managers. This gives them a genuine insight into challenges that business owners face. This ‘national’ strength is a perfect complement to the ‘local’ service.
