Repair It Lake Mac was established in 2018 as a grassroots community project of the Lake Macquarie Sustainable Neighbourhood Alliance to create a repair cafe in Lake Mac.
The initiative has grown, with regular events run around Lake Macquarie by a team of passionate volunteers. Events connect volunteer repairers with those with broken things!, offer upcycle and repair workshops, a deconstruction site for the kids, and a warm and friendly place for community to connect and learn.
