We are a Non-profit, Think Tank and Consultancy working with Government and Private bodies to promote good practices in Urban Design & Development. #bettercities Areas of Expertise: Placemaking, Urban Design, Street Activation, Community driven Development, Public Art - Most cities today, are stuck with unfriendly and outdated infrastructure they have inherited. It is impossible to completely rebuild. How can we reimagine the existing spaces and make them more responsive to public life? We are extremely passionate about helping urban spaces reach their maximum potential through thoughtful design and policymaking. What we do? Solution Driven Research on Urban Issues Tell us the problems your neighborhood, cities or areas are facing and we will work with you and the community to provide creative, high impact, low cost solutions. Design Management Have an existing project you are not sure about or unhappy with? We help with managing the design process to ensure a desirable outcome for client. We work with contractors and architects to facilitate design-build integration. Existing Conditions Analysis We conduct in depth analysis research of the existing sites to understand how to best optimize them. Site Potential Report (DPR) We help authorities and companies produce Detailed Project Reports that then form the basis of any future tenders, work orders, designs and development. Public Art We use art to activate overlooked, dead spots in the cities. We have impanelled street artists around the country and bring specialists and organizations on board as needed. (Wall painting, Street furniture, Interactive Sculptures, Workshops, etc.) Public Engagement We work with cities and companies to maximize public engagement and participation through design, workshops, events and social media.
