Red Arubiano Di Prensa Profesional

Red Arubiano di Prensa Profesional (RAPP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the free practice of journalism and the promotion of high standards of ethical behavior. RAPP works to inspire and educate current and future journalists through professional development; and protects fundamental rights guarantees of freedom of speech and press through its advocacy efforts. The organization is establishing itself as an association following the ethical guidelines of the Dutch Association of Journalists (NVJ). Our principles • Promoting Quality Journalism: We focus on enhancing the skills and knowledge of journalists by organizing specialized training, workshops, and seminars. • Upholding Journalistic Ethics: We adhere to strict ethical guidelines to ensure the integrity and credibility of journalism. • Supporting Professional Development: Through ongoing educational programs and networking opportunities, we assist journalists in their continuous professional growth. • Protecting Fundamental Rights: We advocate for laws that safeguard press freedom and access to information, while also providing legal support to journalists when needed. • Media Literacy: We are dedicated to increasing media literacy within the Aruban community through educational initiatives and publications.
