History:
Raymond Consumer Care is the FMCG entity of the 90+ year old Raymond Group, one of India’s most well-known conglomerates. The roots of Raymond’s FMCG foray dates back to 1964 when it entered into a JV with US Based FMCG company Helene Curtis. In 1990 Raymond entered the Sexual Wellness business with the launch of ‘Kama sutra’ in a JV with Ansell Australia. In 2002 it further enhanced its presence in FMCG by entering the Men’s Grooming Space with brand PARK AVENUE. Since then the Raymond FMCG business has grown by leaps and bounds.
Raymond Consumer Care was a FMCG company with leadership status in the Indian Deodorant and Condom market and competitive presence in fragrances and sexual wellness. RCCL got acquired by Godrej Consumer Products Ltd in May 2023 in a strategic divestment
