Rapenburg Plaza is an international operating lighting design and multimedia company – in a world where imagination rules. From Rotterdam we work for theatre, opera, film, museums, television, architecture and an increasing number of large commercial enterprises like theme parks, exhibitions and large scale events. By combining the various disciplines of lighting design, audiovisual solutions and show control we established a wealth of knowledge within Rapenburg Plaza. Our designs and products give a dynamic to a project that has become inseparable from the world of the viewer and listener. Artistically as well as the practical level of technique and finances. Therefore we often take upon us the technical production of the project ourselves. Our services are not restricted to the aforementioned disciplines. Our show control department developed a revolutionary stage management system especially for Operahouses and Theatres. In addition to the projects that we take on, we can equip the complete installation of control-, audiovisual-, and light equipment. In this case, equipment delivery is included. In order for a project to run smoothly, we also offer looking after the equipment by way of a full maintenance contract. Rapenburg Plaza’s roots are in theatre. With this background, the foundation was established for a creative approach on every project we work for. This approach is our trademark for being able to think conceptual and always supportive in the line of the project. Our challenge is to realize a beautiful product where our equipment is a mere tool to achieve the customers objective. We like to be involved in a project from the early stages onwards in order to think with the client and come with solutions. This is why we strive for an in depth cooperation with the client, design team and others involved. Another aspect that we uphold is a flexible attitude during the creative process.
