About
Set up as a registered charity, the organisation was founded in 2009 by me and a group of individuals and arts professionals who wanted to bring their skills to use in supporting and encouraging regeneration in Thanet, East Kent. We wanted to use the arts as part of the catalyst for change. A launch event LOVE: HATE: HOPE: RAMSGATE set a benchmark for high quality, well produced work and was followed a year later by the first multi-arts festival A Summer Squall. The organisation is currently working in partnership with Battersea Arts Centre, London and Garsington Opera and continues to produce an annual arts festival in Ramsgate, Kent.
