RadioReverb is Brighton’s not for profit radio station, broadcasting on 97.2FM, on DAB+ and online. We are ‘the sound of your city’ with a team of home-grown broadcasters producing a vibrant mix of speech and music programmes that reflects the Brighton & Hove community
RadioReverb provides an accessible, sustainable and accountable community radio station for Brighton and Hove, broadcasting programmes on topics as diverse as the arts, foraging, business, community issues, food and drink, LGBT+ issues and the environment, alongside highly regarded specialist music shows covering a wide range of genres.
We have been broadcasting for over 10 years, initially only for two weeks in 2004 during Brighton Festival. In 2007 we were awarded a full community broadcasting licence and then received a five-year extension until 2022.
Our Audience
Over 70% of our listeners live in Brighton and Hove (over 85% of our listeners love that we’re locally and community focused) but we also reach listeners in places such as Falmer, Chichester and Littlehampton.
We also have an international audience, with people from the USA, Ireland, Spain and France listening online, the podcasts of our most popular shows have reached over half a million downloads.
Our Presenters
All our presenters are all volunteers, generously giving their time to bring their unique programmes to your airwaves. It is with their help we have been able to create a stimulating forum for learning, consciousness raising and the expression of ideas, informed by principles of social justice and human rights.
RadioReverb aims to reflect the cultural, economic, vocational and creative needs of Brighton as expressed by all members of our community through our line up of diverse and talented presenters.
