Rabtt, which literally translates to ‘connection’, is an attempt to engage with students from public as well as private schools in Pakistan, at a personal level and foster in them the desire to think critically. Rabtt brings together students and mentors from different walks of life and creates a space that is conducive to mutual learning and respect, with an aim to create a generation of students and young professionals capable of critically analyzing information at their disposal, empathizing with differing worldviews, and finding creative outlets for self-expression. In line with this vision, our mentors focus on three core competencies in all our activities with students:
• To promote critical thinking in students by engaging them with subject material that promotes content understanding versus rote memorization.
• To develop, in students, tolerance for diversity and differing worldviews.
• To enable the personal growth of students with a focus on creativity and confidence building.
