Rabble is a team of developers, innovators, and humanists who believe libraries are forces for good. We started Rabble with a simple idea: libraries deserve software that reflects their values. That’s why we work with libraries to design and build solutions, and it’s why we openly release our source code.
Rabble is the creator of MUSICat, an open source platform for creating local music collections, built in partnership with public libraries. MUSICat shares streams, downloads, and information about local artists. The platform empowers libraries to license music directly from local artists by giving librarians, curators, and musicians tools to build a collection together. MUSICat is a community engagement machine that helps libraries build lasting relationships and foster sustainable artistic communities.
