Rayen Automobile Manufacturing Company was established in 2003 as one of the subsidiaries of Kerman Automotive Industries Group in the new special economic zone of Arg and for the purpose of car production.
The design of the factory was done in two phases and during it it was decided to build 95,000 square meters in the first phase and 200,000 square meters in the second phase. Each phase includes a body hall, a paint hall and a decoration hall.
The first phase includes a 23,000 square meter body hall with a capacity of 5 production lines and 40 car bodies per hour, a paint hall with an area of 40,000 square meters and a painting capacity of 20 cars per hour and a decoration hall with an area of 32,000 square meters and a production line capacity. Production of 40 vehicles per hour.
In March 2003, after signing a cooperation agreement between Rayen Automobile Manufacturers and Hyundai Motor Company of South Korea, which is one of the five most reputable automotive companies in the world, Rayen Automotive Company was officially named the manufacturer of Hyundai cars in Iran. After that, with the launch of Hyundai Verna (Accent) car production line, the first production car of this company was removed from the factory production line in June 2004, and the first series of production cars was handed over to esteemed customers in September of that year.
Following the development of the company, the production of Avante car (Ultra) with the cooperation of Hyundai company was on the agenda and after purchasing and installing the equipment of the production line of this car, in August 2005 the first cars produced from this series, after testing and testing. Technical and obtaining the necessary permits were assigned to esteemed customers. With the appointment of Parastoo Abi Arg Company as the official sales and after-sales service representative of Rayen Automotive Company and within a year, 10 agencies were opened in major cities of Iran.
