Rousch Geriatric Care,

Rousch Geriatric Care, LLC is dedicated to serving the elderly of the Little Rock, Arkansas and also Saline County areas. My name is Lori Rousch and I am a registered nurse and Cerified Senior Advisor® working as a geriatric care manager. I work with senior clients as an on-site problem solver supplementing or replacing (in the absence of family) those functions traditionally taken care of by a close relative. Normally an initial assessment lays the groundwork for a personalized plan. The care giver, if available, can then choose to implement the recommendations or set up an agreement with Rousch Geriatric Care to provide ongoing services. Such services could include but are not limited to the following: Screen, arrange and monitor in-home help or other services; attend medical appointments to assist healthcare provider in receiving a more complete overall picture and assist client/family to be able to follow through on healthcare instructions; act as liaison to families at a distance, keeping them updated on services, changes, or alerting them to problems; oversight of scheduled medication dispenser; assisting with transition to different living arrangements because of the need for increased level of personal care; accountability with bill paying, doctor, & personal appointments; advocacy in sorting through Medicare/insurance questions; completing applications.
