Being comfortable with Java and looking for a good rapid application development framework, we’ve found Grails five years ago… and fell in love with this fantastic web application platform. Given that it has the patronage of the Spring community (now VMWare), we can definitely affirm that Grails will become even better and deliver greater value to developers. As any other RAD framework, Grails is extremely good for prototyping and turning ideas into code. A wide range of Grails plugins provide wonderful features and make integration with other systems convenient and simple. Working on Grails since its release of version 0.4 and using plugin architecture we’ve succeeded in creating custom web apps easily.
