REDD (Risk Event-Driven and Distressed) is an online information platform that provides intelligence and data on emerging market sovereigns and corporates. The service allows asset managers and advisors to assess risks, track potential market-moving events and identify trading or business opportunities in the distressed and high yield markets via a suite of web-based and mobile solutions. REDD was founded in October 2013 by Manhattan and Silicon Valley based partners with the idea of combining the latest web-based technology with emerging markets financial intelligence and data. The company launched its first platform covering Latin America corporates in March 2014. REDD's market-recognized team of journalists and analysts is based out of New York and Singapore.
