GlassBlast iis a 100% recycled crush glass is used as a blasting media and other uses for a sand like product.. Engineered crushed glass can be used as a direct replacement for most hard abrasives, including silica-sand, coal slag (aka Black Beauty), and garnet. GlassBlast is approved by numerous federal and state government agencies and military branches. GlassBlast was started with the goal of making sure the blast media user stays ahead of future industry regulations. We want customers to have access to a blasting media that will always be approved and available for their needs. When the sandblasting industry identified the free silica problem associated with sand and shifted to slags it was done without looking into the heavy metal contaminants the slags contained. GlassBlast solves the environmental and health safety concerns while providing a blast media at a comparable price that gets the job done. The founders of GlassBlast have individually over thirty years’ experience each in the North American construction products and wholesale distribution business. From humble beginnings in California we have previously built nationwide operations with the primary focus on customer service.
