Rasl Rotterdam Arts & Sciences Lab

We are a collaboration between: Willem de Kooning Academy (WdKA), Codarts Rotterdam, Erasmus University College (EUC) and Erasmus School of History Culture and Communication (EUR). We intend our collaboration to, firstly, advance the exchange of knowledge on education and research. And secondly, to offer students the possibility to develop their skills in accordance with the changing artistic professional practices and societal issues. RASL can become a central player within the arts and sciences sector in Rotterdam, by nurturing versatile and talented students, developing innovative educational structures and promoting multi and interdisciplinary research, of which RASL intends to be both incubator and catalyst. We reinforce the international artistic profile of Rotterdam, within arts and sciences, by elevating and enriching our local artistic network. RASL provides a creative and innovative impulse to Rotterdam. As collaborating parties we work together on the Double Degree programme for Bachelor students across our schools, as well as interdisciplinary research between and beyond our institutions.
