Rad Lab Designs

RAD Lab is a San Diego based company focusing on cutting edge design and development within both the public and private realm. We seek opportunity by experimenting through flexible urbanism, place making, and challenging settings. Our passion is to explore new methods of construction and design within the urban environment motivated by viewing architecture as a framework for transformation. RAD Lab is currently working on residential, commercial, and urban development projects. This group of young designers and builders has been in operation for just over a year and taking the city of San Diego by storm. RAD Lab was recently awarded an Orchid for their extraordinary work at East Village’s Pocket Park. The San Diego Architectural Foundation’s annual award ceremony Orchids and Onions jury noted, “With one simple and coherent idea this pocket park created a functional, communal gathering space in an existing unused lot. We need more projects like this one!”
