Founded by Petrea King in 1989, the Quest for Life Foundation provides residential programs and workshops that build resilience and peace of mind for people living with life's greatest challenges including cancer, grief, loss and trauma. Our Facilitators conduct community-based workshops throughout Australia in communities and organisations dealing with a variety of challenges. Our focus is on educating people about developing resilience to manage stressful circumstances and to grow and flourish in the midst of change.
Set in 9 acres of landscaped gardens, the Quest for Life Centre provides an oasis for time out and an ideal environment for reflection, healing and the learning of new and valuable life skills. Thousands of people journey to the Centre to find a safe haven in which to begin or continue their healing journey.
In addition, highly trained health professionals and facilitators offer training in resilience and healing principles in rural, regional and metropolitan areas throughout Australia.
As a charity, Quest for Life is committed to making programs accessible to everyone in need of them and has DG1 status. The Foundation is governed by a dedicated voluntary Board.
