With over 36 years of continuous operating experience, QGOG Constellation is a market leading provider of oil and gas drilling and FPSO services in Brazil. We are also one of the ten largest drilling companies globally, based on drilling rigs in operation.
Through our subsidiary QGOG, we operate in the fast-growing Brazilian oil and gas industry, which requires substantial resources to explore the recent discoveries of vast potential oil and gas reserves off the coast of Brazil.
QGOG Constellation owns and holds interests in a state-of-the-art offshore fleet, constructed by the world’s leading shipyards. Our modern fleet includes six ultra-deepwater rigs in operation, one deepwater rig, one midwater rig, nine onshore rigs and partnerships in five FPSOs.
We combine a high standard of operating performance and drilling efficiency with adherence to the highest quality, health, safety and environmental (QHSE) standards. All of our drilling operations are certified by ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. In addition, we have adopted the ISM Code (Maritime Safety and Pollution Prevention) and the ISPS Code (Maritime Security).
We strive to act in a socially responsible manner, upholding the principles of transparency and integrity, in order to enhance the quality of our relationship with our employees, customers and all of our stakeholders.
QGOG Constellation is controlled by certain Queiroz Galvão family members, who own QG S.A., a Brazilian conglomerate with activities in heavy construction, energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, real estate agriculture and steel. Capital International Private Equity Funds (CIPEF), a leading global emerging markets private equity firm, became a shareholder of QGOG Constellation in June 2010.
