Inspired by the Patagonia-Founder Yvon Chouinard and his book "Let the people go Surfing”, Pascal Roesler set up the charitable Association “Pure Water for Generations e.V.” on 11th Mai 2017 and, with his stand-up paddleboard, he paddled 2,467 km from Munich to the Black Sea. His vision
of “Drinkable Danube Water by 2042“ came into being during this journey.
Since then, Pascal and his partners produced the two documentaries; ”2,467 km – A Journey to the Black Sea” and “The Soul of the Salzach”. They have captivated thousands of viewers and have raised donations in order to raise consciousness about our water. All the funds flow into projects such as water school days, film documentaries, river cleaning and support for international water projects.
