Since 2009, PubliBike has been offering bike sharing networks in several Swiss cities: Lausanne-Morges, Nyon Region, Fribourg, Sion, Sierre, Sottoceneri (TI), Bern and Zurich. Bike sharing is the ideal complement to private and public transportation. It relieves traffic congestion in the city centre, improves the attractiveness of public transport and is environmentally friendly. In recent years, bike sharing has become increasingly popular all over the world. In Switzerland, PubliBike embodies this service: mobile, urban and sustainable. PubliBike is an independent public limited company. Its headquarters are in Bern. With its activities, PubliBike aims to contribute to the transformation of mobility and thus find solutions to reduce the impact of transport on the environment.
