Projects In Place Society

Projects in Place is a volunteer-run non-profit society that brings construction professionals together with the general public to design and implement projects that benefit their community. We help people not just imagine, but build greener neighbourhoods and stronger communities through design and build projects. We do this by coordinating volunteer builds which allow us to complete projects for far less than they would otherwise cost. Our diverse members take our clients from vision to design to construction in an effort to provide a deeper understanding of the role design and construction can play in improving our daily lives. Projects in Place Society has completed a variety of community improvement projects including green roofs, living walls, playgrounds and urban farms.
