ProjectCSGIRLS is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit working to close the tech gender gap by running a national computer science competition for middle school girls and regional workshops around the country. Our competition challenges girls to be makers and use tech to develop projects with social impact, empowering them to pursue technology and confidently step forward into a field as male-dominated as computer science. To date, we have reached over 900 middle school girls nationally through our competition and workshops, have partnered with several national and global women in tech organizations, and have received corporate sponsorship and support.
