Project Ummeed

Project Ummeed is a Social Entrepreneurship Organisation and Renewable Energy Research and Development Startup that aims to meet the unaddressed electricity needs of the rural population in India. Rural electrification in India is plagued by a lack of rural infrastructure, lack of environmental sustainability, and a lack of affordability for low-income rural households. Project Ummeed, through energy production innovations like the Enhanced Anodic Substrate Fuel Cell, aims to tackle this problem on the grassroots level. Through Project Ummeed, we aim to spread electrical literacy and bring to the spotlight stories of disadvantaged and deprived rural residents.
