Employing over 200 personnel, Premier Group offers a full ‘turnkey’ operation for clients ranging from The Morgan Motor Company, Bentley Motors, Jaguar Land Rover and The Ford Motor Company to Alstom, GKN Aerospace and Bombardier. There are 4 unique business units: 1. Niche Vehicle Production (NVP) are the experts in prototype and low volume vehicle production – from initial concept visualisation, design and advanced engineering to manufacturing, integrity testing, powertrain performance and trim & final assembly. Built on a foundation of automotive engineering expertise, and complemented with state-of-the-art facilities, NVP specialises in one-off custom cars, high profile Limited Edition programmes of specialist vehicles and the manufacture of bespoke vehicles. 2. The Advanced Engineering Division covers Concept, Detailing, Validation (via simulation) and Prototyping. With a fully integrated ‘design for manufacture’ service, their customers benefit from an unparalleled breadth of experience spanning sectors from aerospace, rail and defence to automotive, nuclear and industrial. This transfer of knowledge across industries results in real, practical solutions. 3. Premier Group Manufacturing specialise in low to medium volume manufacture, supporting the manufacturing community with their unique flexible design engineering. Employing a highly skilled sheet metal work force that are without parallel in the industry, they utilise a state-of-the-art assembly facility, 2-axis and 5-axis lasers and brakes presses. 4. The Sheet Metal Division were the original ‘roots’ of Premier Group. Specialising in sheet metal work, the highly skilled work force are experts in prototype manufacture, press tool design, polystyrene patterns, press tool manufacture, press shop (up to 680 ton) and 5-axis laser.
